Primary Liasion
At Padgate Academy we provide students from Year 3 to Year 6 to the opportunity to have an experience of learning within a secondary school setting to prepare them for the future. It also supplements the primary curriculum by offering high quality educational sessions delivered by subject experts using specialist resources and classrooms and supplements the pastoral care of students who will attend Padgate Academy in the future by starting relationships in KS2.

Summer School
As part of the transition process we offer a three-day summer school in August every year. This is free of charge and provides students with the opportunity to build upon relationships with students and staff ready for the new academic year. Our summer school program is designed to cater to a variety of needs and interests, ensuring that every student can benefit from the experience.
Residential
As part of the transition process we have an annual Year 7 residential trip to an activity Centre. This is an opportunity for the year group to undertake a residential and is an important experience. Students work together and build new and exciting relationships with other students and staff.
